Don is responsible for guiding and supporting the engineering and project management teams in their mission to provide efficient, high quality, and fit-for-purpose solutions that meet client needs and help them achieve their goals. His career has been almost evenly split between being a customer for, and provider of, Engineering and Design services, giving him a thorough understanding of the needs and challenges of both client and supplier, and the capacity to respond accordingly.

One of Don’s core beliefs is that effective communication produces alignment, which leads to a committed team moving in a single direction. He is proud to work with a group of managers who understand that they are examples, that feedback is a gift, and that the input and efforts of every team member are uniquely valuable.

Don received a Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering from Harvey Mudd College. He has previously worked for Unocal and Processes Unlimited, in roles from Facility Engineer to Team Lead, and Alliance Coordinator to VP of Human Resources. Don is a past Chair of the Central California Chapter of Associated Builders and Contractors (ABC), and has served on ABC’s Board of Directors for more than 10 years.
